CTS Successfully Completes Ultrasonic Concrete Inspection at Baku Olympic Stadium
Baku, Azerbaijan — June 2026
Caspian Technical Solution (CTS) is pleased to announce the successful completion of an Ultrasonic Concrete Inspection project at Baku Olympic Stadium as part of the World Urban Forum (WUF) project.
As part of this assignment, CTS performed advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) of reinforced concrete structures using the Proceq Pundit Pulse Echo system to evaluate the internal condition, integrity, and quality of concrete elements without causing any damage to the inspected structures.
The inspection was carried out to provide reliable technical data for structural assessment and to support informed decision-making regarding the condition of reinforced concrete elements.
The scope of work included:
- Ultrasonic Pulse Echo (UPE) inspection of reinforced concrete structures;
- Detection of internal voids, honeycombing, and potential defects within concrete elements;
- Identification of delamination and internal cracks;
- Concrete thickness measurement;
- Detection and verification of embedded objects and reinforcement locations, where applicable;
- Assessment of concrete homogeneity and structural integrity;
- Digital data acquisition, analysis, and preparation of technical inspection reports.
By applying advanced ultrasonic inspection technology and internationally recognized NDT practices, CTS successfully delivered accurate and reliable inspection results, supporting the evaluation of the structural condition of the facility.
Through this project, CTS further demonstrates its expertise in advanced NDT solutions, concrete condition assessment, structural inspection, and engineering quality assurance services for complex infrastructure projects.
With a combination of qualified personnel, modern inspection technologies, and internationally recognized inspection practices, CTS continues to provide reliable technical solutions that enhance safety, performance, and long-term asset reliability.
CTS expresses its sincere appreciation to WUF and all project stakeholders for their confidence, cooperation, and support throughout the successful completion of this assignment.
